Maintaining a full set of tools to maintain your database is outside the scope of the vBulletin application. Doing this properly is a full application in its own right. There are many tools available to maintain your database. Here is a list of some of these tools.

Workstation Tools

These applications would be installed on your local workstation. They allow remote access to your database.
